It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!! We here at Chesterbrook Academy in Exton are so excited for the month of December! December is a time of traditions, celebrations, family and friends. Throughout the month students will be learning about all the holiday symbols, what a tradition is and sharing their own traditions with their classmates. Students will enjoy learning about the meaning of the holidays and embracing the concept of giving.
To help students learn what it means and feels like to give, we have adopted a family for the Christmas holiday through Pathways PA. Our family’s Christmas wishes are written on ornaments decorating the tree in our vestibule. If you would like to participate and share the feeling of giving with your child, simply take an ornament from the tree, purchase the item new, wrap the gift and place it under our tree. Gifts are due by Friday December 9th and will be delivered to the Pathways PA office. Pathways will deliver the gifts to our adopted family who will get to have a wonderful Christmas thanks to you and your generosity.
Important dates to keep in mind for the month of December:
December 9th – Gifts for our Pathways Family due
December 13th – Holiday Tea and Cookie Decorating 3:30pm
December 23rd – Chesterbrook will be closing at 3:00pm
