Dear Parents,
Happy Fall! Can you believe it’s been almost two months since the beginning of the school year? What a pleasure it is to see and hear happy children and teachers engaged in a variety of learning experiences, singing, storytelling, helper assignments, teacher directed learning centers, art, and sensory exploration, just to name a few. As early childhood educators, it is very rewarding to provide an environment that allows children the freedom to discover and learn in a supportive and nurturing way. We appreciate that you have chosen us and thank you for your ongoing support and trust! When parents and teachers work as partners, the learning experience becomes richer and more meaningful to the child.
October kicks-off the holiday season here at Chesterbrook Academy. One of our most popular school events is “Trunk or Treat.” Families and friends are welcome to join us for an evening of safe trick or treating and games! We do need volunteers for the trunk or treating! If you would like to volunteer, please see Lindsey or Tera.
Please be sure to review monthly activities and events on the calendar as we have many fun things going on the remainder of this year and we’d love parents to participate.
Throughout the year we host a variety of national fundraisers. These fundraisers were chosen to offer quality products and services to our families while benefiting our school program. We definitely appreciate all of the participation we have had so far! We have met all of our goals so far! I greatly appreciate you all!
Documenting your child’s growth and development is an ongoing process for Chesterbrook Academy teachers. Parent reports will be sent home with end of the month folders at the end of November.
Thank you all again, for your continued support for Chesterbrook Academy!
