Dear Chesterbrook Academy Families,
We truly have talented teachers here at CBA, and to acknowledge our wonder educators we will be featuring a teacher a month on our Communication Board in the foyer. This month we have selected Ms. Donna St. Laurent. Please take a moment to read what makes Ms. Donna so unique.
She worked in early childhood for 10 + years and enjoys our curriculum because it allows her to be creative while incorporating all of our skills sets. Her favorite subject to teach is science, and the quote she lives by is “Dance like no one’s watching, Sing like no one’s listening, Love like you’ve never been hurt”.
Trunk or Treat this year will be held on October 31st, beginning at 3:15. Please note– only decorated cars will be permitted in the CBA lot on at this time– no pickup traffic during this time as we will have little ones participating in the festivities. PLEASE park at the Chinn Center. If you are interested in donating candy (nut free please), lending a hand in our classrooms, or stuffing goody bags, please let us know! A sign-up sheet will be available at the front desk.
Friendly Reminders:
Extra Clothes: Be sure to provide your child with extra clothing, including shoes. Items can be stored in your child’s cubby. Also, check the clothes often to make sure everything still fits and is still seasonally appropriate. For our POTTY TRAINING friends – please provide an extra set of socks and shoes.
Tuition: Tuition payments are due in full each Friday for the week ahead. Late fees of $25 are added at 12 pm on Mondays L
Birthday Cupcakes: We will provide enough cupcakes for your child’s birthday celebration here at school for just $15. The children will celebrate by decorating and eating the cupcakes in the afternoon. This makes the celebration easy for you and helps us safely work around our students’ food allergies.
Order forms are available at the front desk for birthday cupcakes – please, provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Order forms can be turned directly into Ms. Brenda, our chef, or at the front desk.
