We are delighted to share all we have learned during the month of October! We had a blast during our Trunk-Or-Treat and enjoyed many Fall and Halloween celebrations! Thank you to everyone that participated in our school events, we were glad you could join us. We are looking forward to the fun festivities we have planned during the month of November.
* Thanksgiving Lunch *
We hope you can join us on Thursday, November 19th at 11:00! We invite all families to join us for a yummy turkey lunch with green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, cornbread, cranberry and gravy. We are excited to share in this time together and looking forward to some fun with our students!

November 2 & 3 – FCPS are closed, school age drop in care available
November 7 – Open House
November 11 – Veteran’s Day – Chesterbrook Academy is Closed
November 12 – Picture Day (Infants, Toddlers, Beginners and Sibling Photos)
November 13 – Picture Day (Intermediates, Pre-K 1 and 2, Kindergarten)
November 16-20 – Canned Food Drive
November 19 – Thanksgiving Lunch from 11-12
November 20 – Pajama Day
November 26 – Thanksgiving Day – Chesterbrook Academy is Closed
November 27 – Chesterbrook Academy open from 7-4

* Drop In Days: Please see up front for sign up and fees associated with drop in care on Nov. 2&3.
* Pictures Days: Please see the schedule above for your child’s classroom picture day assignment. Please note that sibling photos and those students individual photos will be taken on Thursday, November 12th. All class photos will be taken on the classroom’s assigned days.
* School Closings and Schedule: Chesterbrook Academy will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th for staff professional development day. Chesterbrook Academy will be closed on Thursday, November 26th for Thanksgiving Day. School will only be open 7-4 on Friday, November 27th. Please note your child’s attendance by Tuesday, November 10th, on their classroom door.
* Cubby & Nap Time Items: Please check your child’s cubby to ensure they have proper attire for extra clothing. Additionally, please ensure you are sending a top and bottom cover, labeled with your child’s name – in for nap time on Monday mornings.
